Survey goes live Friday to help determine name, mascot, and colors of Sullivan County middle school

An online survey will go live on Friday to determine the new name, mascot, and colors for Sullivan County Schools’ newest edition.

A committee of students, parents, and staff spent the last month to form a survey that will collect votes for the name of a new middle school that will be established at the current Sullivan Central High location.

Consolidation of Central and Sullivan South will be completed in the fall with the opening of West Ridge High School in the Exit 63 area.

Votes will be accepted through Dec. 11. The committee will then present those results to the Sullivan County Board of Education next month.
