TSA to host Pop-up precheck enrollment event at the Tri-Cities Airport Dec. 7-11

Individuals interested in spending less time going through security checkpoints when at the airport can sign up for a program next week at Tri-Cities Airport.

The TSA will hold a pop-up precheck enrollment event all next week, with interviews open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m-12 p.m and 1 p.m-5 p.m. The enrollment center will be located just inside the main entrance of the terminal. The TSA Precheck program allows for passengers to have shorter wait times when being scanned through security, which includes not having to take shoes off or remove certain items like laptops from luggage.

Individuals interested in TSA PreCheck, should submit an application online and schedule an appointment here. To complete the application process, individuals will need to bring documentation proving identity and citizenship status, such as a valid U.S. passport. The in-person appointment includes fingerprinting for a background check.
