An inmate at the United States Penitentiary in Lee County, Virginia has been indicted on two charges by a federal grand jury for a stabbing incident from earlier this year.
Documents said Murray James Plentywounds attacked the victim on May 11 with a tomahawk style weapon constructed with a sharpened piece of plastic.
Plentywoods, 34, was sent to prison in 2017 for a stabbing at the Fort Hall Indian Reservation in Idaho.
