COVID-19 Positive Case Rate Climbing.

Ballad Health Care’s COVID-19 postivity rate continues to climb at an alarming rate. This time last week, the health care provider reported a positivity rate of 19 point two percent. On Monday, Ballad says the positivity rate has jumped to 24 point six percent. To put that number in perspective, a positivity rate of five percent is considered high. In the past seven days 86 people have died from COVID-19 within the 21 county service area of Ballad Health. Ballad is also reporting 54 COVID-19 hospital beds available across the system.
