Warner Says Congress Needs To Get Past Their Egos And Pass Stimulus Package
It’s not a perfect bill, but it’s better than the alternative of not doing anything. That’s pretty much how Senator Mark Warner of Virginia describes the ongoing compromise in Congress over a 908 billion dollar stimulus emergency relief fund. Warner told health care leaders from northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginians Congress needs to get past their egos and pass the legislation. Many of the current stimulus benefits like unemployment will expire the day after Christmas.
