ETSU In Shelter In Place…After Reports Of Armed And Dangerous Man On Campus

According to an ETSU twitter account, the University has been placed in a shelter in place alert after a report of an armed and dangerous man on campus. According to the report, the man is described as a white male five feet eight inches tall and weighs 150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. The alert was sent out shortly after nine am Friday morning. There are published reports stating the man is an escaped inmate who was receiving treatment at Johnson City Medical Center.
