Health Officials Release Details Of Phase 1ab Vaccination Plans In Virginia
The Virginia Department of Health says the next phase of vaccinations in the Commonwealth will involve front line essential workers, who cant work from home, people at least 75 years old and persons in correctional facilities, homeless shelters and migrant labor camps. This group can access vaccinations through their local health departments, health care systems and pharmacies. Virginia is still in first phase one, which prioritizes health care workers and long term care residents and staff, but is expected to begin vaccinations for phase two by February.
