UPDATE: Three men charged in fatal Nov. drive-by shooting in Carter County have cases bound over to a grand jury
A grand jury will hear the case of three men accused of being involved in a drive-by shooting last November that took the life of a 10-year old Carter County girl.
Jason Barber, Zachary Scalf, and Jediah Glover each appeared in court on Friday and had their charges bound over. The trio are charged with first degree murder and several other counts related to the Nov. 17 incident, where Barber reportedly drove Scalf and Glover to a home on Blevins Rd. where the two men allegedly fired 21 shots at the residence, one of the bullets striking and killing Lillyhanna Davis while she was sleeping.
Police say it was revenge for a previous fight at the home that happened in Oct. The three men will be back in court on April 12.
