Dobyns-Bennett grad heading to second Super Bowl with Kansas City Chiefs

A Dobyns-Bennett High School grad and Kingsport native is heading to his second Super Bowl.

Offensive Lineman Daniel Kilgore and the Kansas City Chiefs rolled to a 38-24 victory over the Buffalo Bills during Sunday night’s AFC Championship game. The 10th year veteran center appeared in Super Bowl 47 in 2013 with the San Francisco 49ers in a losing effort to the Baltimore Ravens.

Kilgore will hope to secure his first NFL championship ring as the Chiefs will challenge Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl 55 scheduled for Feb. 7.
