TDH: COVID-19 vaccine access to expand to rural and underserved communities across Tennessee
TN health officials are turning their focus to expansion of COVID-19 vaccine access to rural and underserved communities across the state.
The department of health is partnering with pharmacies as well as community health clinics to add over 100 new vaccination sites, including here in Northeast Tennessee. Local community vaccination centers will be located in Carter, Greene, and Unicoi counties, and the facilities are expected to receive vaccine supplies by the end of this week.
