Community remembering 17-year old Bristol, TN teen killed in weekend crash in Knoxville

Family and friends are mourning the loss of a 17-year old Bristol, TN teen who passed away from injuries sustained in a car crash over the weekend in Knoxville.

A memorial vigil was held for Logan Konley Smith Sunday night at First Presbyterian Church that included worship music and time for students to remember the Tennessee High senior. To watch the vigil from Sunday night, click here.

Knoxville Police identified Smith as the victim in a crash that occurred early Saturday morning on I-40 as officers say Smith’s vehicle collided with two tractor trailers before coming to rest in the grass. Smith was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.

A visitation and celebration of life is scheduled for Tuesday evening starting at 4 p.m at First Presbyterian Church in Bristol, TN. Smith’s obituary is available to read by clicking here.
