Richard Petty Names Eric Jones To Drive New Petty Race Car

In 1970, the King Richard Petty won the last dirt track race on the old Winston Cup series in Raleigh and now fifty years later, the King returns to Bristol to name Eric Jones as his driver for the new Richard Petty Motorsports race car. Petty says Tide, BMS and Food City should make for an interesting race with its 19 degree dirt banking.Jones had five top five wins last year and 13 top ten finishes. He will drive the newly designed Richard Petty 43 car in the race that will be held on March 28.
