TDOT: I-81 bridge repair in Colonial Heights set to begin Sunday

Repairs to an Interstate 81 bridge are set to begin this weekend.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation announced starting Sunday March 7th, one lane on both the north and southbound directions of the interstate will be closed for repair work on the bridge near Mile Marker 59 in Colonial Heights, while the on and off ramps to Fort Henry Drive will remain open.

The closures will be 24/7 and work is expected to finish up by May 31st.
