Morristown Police searching for a pair of armed robbery suspects accused of robbing store Monday night
Authorities in Morristown are searching for two men accused of robbing a convenience store Monday night.
Morristown Police say the two young suspects entered Cherokee Market around 9:15 p.m., and one of the suspects allegedly held a clerk at gunpoint, before they fled from the store with money put in a gray duffel bag. Officers described the two men as slim, with one wearing a dark knit cap, dark pants and sweatshirt along with a red bandana. The other suspect was reported to be wearing jeans, a gray face covering, and black sweatshirt that had the logo “Avenue” on the left chest area.
Both individuals are also accused of robbing a Sunoco station at the 3700 block of West AJ Highway in Morristown last Wednesday around 10 p.m., and may have fled westbound on AJ Highway in an older-model gold or pewter colored Honda Civic.
