United States Penitentiary Inmate In Jonesville, Sentenced

A prisoner in Jonesville’s United States Penitentiary in Lee County has been given additional prison time for possessing a weapon inside the facility. According to a press release from United States Attorney Daniel Bubar, 28 year old Leonardo Acevedo- Vazquez will spend an additional 33 months of incarceration and a three year term of supervised release for unlawfull possession of a weapon inside the prison. Vazquez was sentenced Monday. The investigation of the case was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
