UPDATE: Johnson City Police charge juvenile with false reporting after alleged threats made toward Science Hill

UPDATE: Johnson City Police have charged a juvenile with false reporting after they say he made threats online toward Science Hill High School. The juvenile will appear in court at a later time in Johnson City Juvenile Court.

PREVIOUS STORY:

Johnson City Police have identified a student who allegedly made a threat towards Science Hill High School on social media.

Officers say the student, who is a juvenile and is not being identified, has charges pending with the associated threat. Johnson City Police reported that there is no danger from the threat made to Science Hill, its students, faculty or staff.

Out of an abundance of caution, additional law enforcement will be on the school campus on Monday.
