Max Meadows Man Guilty Of Filing False Taxes
A Max Meadows Virginia man, who willfully filed false tax returns for tax years 2014-2016, pleads guilty in U.S. District Court in Abingdon to a federal felony of willfully filing a false tax return. 61 year old Matthew Wood Ridgaway waived his right to be indicted and made the plea on Monday. Ridgaway faces a maximum possible sentence of three years in prison and or a fine of 250 thousand dollar fine. According to court documents Ridgaway failed to disclose on his tax returns over 130 thousand dollars inpayments he received as rental income from properties he owns. Ridgaway is scheduled for a sentencing hearing for June 17
