NETN county health departments extending hours to increase access to COVID vaccine

Northeast Tennessee regional county health departments are offering extended hours as a means to increase access to COVID-19 vaccinations.

A release from health officials say the extension of hours will be for morning and evening hour appointments. The local county health departments are vaccinating individuals 55 and older as well those in Phase 1, 2a and 2b.

Any Tennessee resident 16 and older will soon become eligible to get vaccinated beginning April 5.
