UPDATE: Action 24-7 sportsbook takes Tennessee Lottery to court over license suspension
Operators of the online sportsbook Action 24-7 have filed suit in Chancery Court in Nashville to have their betting license reinstated following a suspension imposed by the Tennessee Lottery Board.
Action is seeking a temporary injunction so they can resume their business which has already lost out on bets from NCAA March Madness. Action’s permit was suspended just hours before the tournament although the company posted on social media that their operations were offline for maintenance.
The lottery announced the suspension was put in place for Action lacking internal control over the operation that did not prevent cases of credit card fraud, money laundering, and illegal betting. The company self-reported the incidents to lottery investigators.
