Johnson City Woman Arrested For Theft, Forgery, And Identity Theft

A Johnson City woman is jailed and awaits arraignment on Wednesday after being arrested for allegedly using the identity of a deceased person to cash a check. Police arrested 51 year old Sharon Ollis of Johnson City after an investigation into a check fraud that occurred back in October of 2020. Ollis is charged with theft under one thousand dollars, forgery under one thousand dollars and identity theft. Sharon Ollis is being housed at the Washington County Tennessee Detention Center on a 25 hundred dollar bond.
