Tennessee labor department partnering with online job training provider to assist unemployed residents
A Tennessee state agency is partnering with an online job training provider to offer free training for in-demand industries to help unemployed state residents get back on their feet.
The department of labor and workforce development together with Coursera is giving access to some 4,000 training programs in different occupational fields, which can help hone job-relevant skills like in business, social media, and entry-level technology. A number of these programs can lead to certifications which can help elevate one’s career.
