German Auto Parts Manufacturer Bringing New Jobs To Wythe County

A leading global system supplier of interior and exterior parts for commercial vehicles is investing 39 million dollars in Wythe County to locate its first United States manufacturing operation. Governor Northam on Thursday announces STS Group AG out of Germany will bring along with them 120 new jobs. The company will supply Volvo Trucks in Pulaski County, and other truck and automotive facilities throughout the midwest and southeastern United States markets. Virginia successfully competed with North Carolina to secure the project for Wythe County. The German manufacturer will locate its new facility in Wythe County’s Progress Park.
