President Biden announces TVA Board of Directors nominees

President Joe Biden has selected four individuals to serve on the Tennessee Valley Authority Board of Directors.
Biden announced his candidates were Beth Geer, a Tennessee native who served as a senior staff member during the Clinton-Gore administration, Chattanooga’s Robert Klein—a former power line worker and electric worker union chief, Kimberly Lewis, a CEO of an Alabama-based logistics company, and, Michelle Moore who serves as the leader of a non-profit solar energy provider.
If approved by Congress, they will join President Trump’s appointees ETSU President Brian Noland, and former Tennessee House Speaker Beth Harwell.
