Early voting starts Wednesday for Kingsport city elections
Polls have opened for early voting as the Kingsport city municipal election fast approaches.
On this year’s ballot includes races for Mayor, the Board of Mayor and Alderman, and the Kingsport City School board. Mayor Pat Shull is seeking reelection and will face a challenge from candidates Michael Lathrop and Brian Woliver.
Voters will be able to cast their ballots during the early voting period at the Kingsport Civic Auditorium or Sullivan County Election Office. Early voting runs through May 13, and below is the early voting schedule:
April 28-30: 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
May 1: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
May 3-7: 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
May 8: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
May 10-13: 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
