NEW: Bristol Vice Mayor publishes news of Amazon distribution center in Exit 7 area
Bristol Virginia Vice Mayor Anthony Farnum announced Wednesday afternoon that Amazon has plans to build a new distribution center in the Exit 7 area of the city.
Farnum published the information on his personal social media page just after 12 noon but there has been no formal statement issued by City Manager Randy Eads.
Amazon announced nearly three years ago its intentions to build two new operational facilities in Alexandria, Virginia and Nashville.
