Johnson City man faces charges of domestic assault, false imprisonment

Police said a Johnson City man choked a victim several times during an argument and then refused to let them leave the residence.

Daniel Okane, 33, is charged with one count of aggravated domestic assault and false imprisonment following the situation reported at an apartment complex on College Heights Road.

The victim told officers that Okane became violent during an argument and then stood in front of her as she tried to leave the dwelling.
