Court records: Lebanon man exchanged child porn images with undercover cop in Texas

A Russell County, Virginia man has pleaded guilty to federal child porn charges.

A report from US District Court in Abingdon says Matthew Thompson of Lebanon used an app called KIK to distribute and download illicit images. Prosecutors said Thompson exchanged those pictures with an undercover officer in Texas last summer.

Thompson, 40, could face up to six years in prison when he is sentenced on Sept. 29.
