Police report shots fired incident at Kingsport apartment complex

Results of a preliminary investigation into shots being fired at a Kingsport apartment complex have been released.

Police said in a statement that it appears two people exchanged gunfire in the parking lot of Miller Village Apartments at the 3800 block of Eastline Drive just before midnight on Monday.

The case remains open and active.
