Lee head to US border to observe Tennessee National Guard members on patrol
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee is heading south this weekend to observe operations near the US border.
Lee and Adjutant General Maj. Gen. Jeff Holmes will be visiting with 300 Tennessee National Guard members from three units who are helping to patrol the boundaries near Mexico.
Lee said Tennessee guardsmen are playing a significant role in quelling the most severe border crisis the US has seen in 20 years.
