Holston Habitat for Humanity hosts “ReArt at the ReStore” art competition

Holston Habitat for Humanity is hosting a “ReArt at the ReStore” event this weekend. Artists will go head to head creating art pieces using only items found in the store. This is a common practice where artists re-purpose what others may deem as “junk” into unique art pieces. Contestants will have only a few hours to rummage the store, find items, and build a completely original art piece. The community will then vote to choose a winner during Fun Fest week.

“ReArt at the ReStore” takes place this Saturday at Holston Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Kingsport from 10 AM to 2 PM.
