Watauga man accused of leaving toddler behind in hot car while running to avoid arrest

A Watauga, Tennessee man wanted in three neighboring jurisdictions was apprehended in Johnson City.

Cody Farmer, 33, also faces felony child endangerment after he ran from his car to avoid officers in the Lowe’s Home Improvement parking lot and left his 2-year-old son behind with all of the windows up and the ignition off.

Farmer was issued a $7,500 bond.
