VDOT Officials Asking For Motorists To Use Caution During Road Improvement Projects In Southwest Viriginia
A couple of road improvements projects in southwest Virginia beginning Thursday and another project getting started next week are expected to cause significant delays. Motorists should be aware beginning Thursday, shoulder work between Route 621, that’s Georges Fork and the Wise County line could cause delays associated with the work. Meanwhile, beginning next week, motorists can expect the possibility of major delays during daylight hours Monday through Thursday. VDOT officials are asking motorists to pay close attention to workers who will be replacing two large pipes beneath Route 83 in Dickenson County.
