Southwest Congressional Delegation Speaking Out On U.S. Exit From Afghanistan

Southwest Virginia’s two congressional represenatives are speaking out against what they are calling a botched American exit from Afghanistan. Congressman Morgan Griffith says the problem with the botched plan was not withdrawing American troops, but President Biden did not have an adequate plan to see it through. Meanwhile, Senator Mark Warner says as Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee he plans to ask tough questions about why the U.S was not better prepared for such a swift and total collapse of the Afghan government and security forces.
