Sullivan Sheriff’s Office Mourning Death Of Fellow Officer, Who Contracted COVID-19

A Sullivan County Deputy has passed away following a brave battle with COVID-19 when he contracted the virus while in the course of his duties as a correctional officer. Deputy Roger Mitchell passed away Tuesday evening. Mitchell was an eight year veteran of the force. In a Press Release, officers described Mitchell as a hard worker, dependable, and always kind. Deputy Mitchell was assigned to the Transportation Division.
