KBE To Discuss And Consider Mask Mandate
Members of the Kingsport Board of Education are meeting later today in a specially called meeting to discuss and consider implementation of a mask mandate for Kingsport City Schools. The meeting will include two twenty minute comment periods, one for those wishing to speak in favor of implementing a mask mandate and one for those who wish to speak against implementing a mask mandate. Governor Bill Lee recently signed Executive Order 84 that allows parents to opt their child out of any local mask mandate. The meeting gets underway at three pm at the Kingsport City Schools offices on Clinchfield Street.
