Ballad Suspends Vaccine Mandate For Employees
Just days before a deadline that would have required Ballad Health care workers to be vaccinated, the health care provider is announcing the suspension of that mandate. CEO and President, Alan Levine says Ballad had established the vaccine mandate to comply with Medicare and Medicaid requirements. So for now, Ballad employees no longer will have to be vaccinated, but Ballad is still encouraging employees to get their vaccinations. The initial mandate followed a federal court ruling suspending any enforcement of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services vaccine mandate.
