Agency needs financial, product support after 20 dogs removed from Greene County home
The Greene County, Tennessee Humane Society is requesting monetary and product donations after the agency removed 20 dogs from a homeowner who is now charged with animal cruelty.
Information from police said the charges stemmed from a welfare check at property located on Welcome Grove Road near Mosheim where the animals were found in unfit conditions.
The shelter reported that they are caring for the small breed dogs including chihuahuas and all of the animals will be available for adoption.
