Lee Proposes 56 Billion Dollar Budget During State of State Address
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee is proposing a more than 52 billion dollar budget in 2022 for K-12 Education, Higher Ed, and Transportation infrastructure projects. Lee gave that report and also told a joint session of the Tennessee General Assembly during his fourth State of the State Address, the Volunteer State has one of the strongest budgetary positions in history. The Governor has plans for a significant update to the state’s educational funding formula.
