Carroll County, Virginia school bus crash leaves one dead

Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a school bus on Thursday morning. A press release from VSP says at around 7:30 Thursday morning, police responded to a two vehicle crash in Carroll County.

A vehicle collided with a Carroll County Public School bus, occupied by a driver, who was not injured, and one student who sustained minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle that collided with the bus did not survive, and has not yet been identified. The crash remains under investigation.
