Eastman Cleanup And Data Retrieval From Monday’s Steam Line Failure Continues
Eastman Chemical Company continues to search for and recover remnants of Monday’s High Pressure steam line failure that injured five employees and left fallout, some containing asbestos in nearby neighborhoods. Eastman’s Corporate Communications Department says about 500 properties have been visited by Eastman team members since Tuesday. So far data retrieved from the impacted neighborhoods shows no signs of air quality or other human health concerns from Monday’s event.
