Northeast Tennessee Transportation Projects Being Touted By Governor Lee
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee is proposing a 626 and a half million dollar transportation budget, and three northeast Tennessee localities are getting more than 30 million of those funds for projects in the area. The governor has his eye on Sullivan County with a proposed 22 million dollar economic development transportation project Construction of a facility on new alignment from Meadowview Park Lane to Riverport Road. And a proposed 11 million dollars is being set aside for Rural Interchange improvements projects in Carter and Unicoi Counties.
