Johnson City man arrested after pulling knife during fight at Waffle House

A Johnson City man was arrested after police say he threatened someone with a knife at the Waffle House on North State of Franklin Road. 37-year-old Joseph Bennett is charged with felony aggravated assault for this incident which took place at around 3 AM Sunday morning.

Johnson City Police were called to a fight in progress at the Waffle House, where an investigation revealed a verbal altercation escalated into Bennett pulling a knife and threatening the other subject. Joseph Bennett was arrested and booked on a ten thousand dollar bond.
