Washington County, Tennessee government phone lines down temporarily on Feb. 8
Officials with Washington County, Tennessee say phone lines for government offices will temporarily be down on Tuesday from 3 to 5 PM. This outage serves to relocate around 500 phone numbers in order to consolidate services and save taxpayer dollars.
This project was initially scheduled for the end of January, however the county says issues with a vendor delayed that process. Phone lines for services including but not limited to courthouse offices, the Sheriff’s Office, County Clerk, and libraries will experience this temporary outage.
