Roof replacement work begins at Tri-Cities Airport on Feb. 14
Officials with Tri-Cities Airport say work will begin Monday on a rehabilitation and replacement project for facility roofing. The project will brighten the overall appearance of the terminal and concourse, in addition to equipping the airport with a new, weather-tight roof.
Crews will demolish existing roofs and replace them with a multi-layered system. Construction will start at the terminal and move to the concourse once the first phase is complete. Federal and state dollars estimated to $1.5 million will fund the project, expected to be complete in July of this year.
