Special Operations Unit Bust Suspected Sullivan Drug Dealer

A Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit has a suspected drug dealer off the streets and confiscate more than ten thousand dollars in cash, and over eleven thousand dollars worth of street value drugs. 42 year old Keith Vestal of Blountville, had been under the surveillance of the Special Operations Unit when members of the unit located Vestal operating a vehicle on Sullivan Gardens Parkway in Kingsport. Vestal resisted arrest, but eventually apprehended and authorities discovered more than 122 grams of methamphetamine, more than 115 grams of pot. as well as heroin, cocaine, LSD, more than 75 pills, and three loaded handguns. Vestal is being housed in Blountville with no bond attached.
