Construction kicks off on new spay-neuter clinic at Johnson City Animal Shelter
The foundation is starting to take shape on a new spay-neuter clinic at the Washington County-Johnson City Animal Shelter. This clinic will allow the shelter to perform spay-neuter procedures in-house, rather than send adopted animals to local vets for surgery.
As a result, adoptions and animal turnover will become much quicker and more efficient. The clinic is possible thanks to donors Judy and Doug Lowrie. The estimated completion date for this addition to the Johnson City Animal Shelter is July of this year. Read the shelter’s post here.
