Milligan track & field student dead, two more injured after hit-and-run
Virginia State Police have a 26 year old Williamsburg Virginia man in custody, and charged with numerous traffic offenses after he struck three members of Milligan University’s Cross Country Track and Field Team, killing 20 year old Sophomore Eli Cramer. Seniors Alex Mortimer and Eli Baldy were also injured. Mortimer is undergoing treatment, while Baldy was treated and released.
26 year old Jose Efrain Hernandez Mancia struck three of the five runners along Williamsburg Pottery Road in Williamsburg Virginia. Mancia fled the scene before crashing his Toyota Scion into a median, then was arrested. Mancia is being housed in the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail on numerous charges including DUI-Involuntary Manslaughter and a felony count of hit and run.
