Group Wants Question Of Lynn Mountain Crosses On May Ballot

A local group wants to save a decades old landmark of crosses on Lynn Mountain in Elizabethton, and they want to accomplish the goal by having citizens voices heard. Crusaders For Christ wants the Elizabethton City Council to place the issue on a May 22 ballot. Crystal Alsbrook, says in a Facebook post by placing the question on a ballot citizens can decide the fate of their Crosses. A Freedom From Religion group is seeking to have the crosses taken down over a question of church and state.
