West Ridge High School fishing team getting new gear from national outdoor chain

Sullivan County, Tennessee’s West Ridge High School fishing team will be one of several organizations to receive a generous donation from officials at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s.

The company has announced a special ceremony scheduled for Thursday where those team members along with Outdoor Club participants at West Ridge will receive some of the 25,000 rods and reels that Bass Pro plans to distribute.

The program is also part of the company’s ‘Gone Fishing’ promotion to get more families outdoors this summer.
