Grading scale changes coming to Johnson City Schools
Johnson City Schools have announced changes to their student grading scale that will align with recent legislation passed by the General Assembly.
The new grading system for grades 3-12 will be a 10-point scale. A statement from the school system said the change was made to provide more access to scholarships and match up their grading with those of major colleges and universities.
